Planning for Probate: Wednesday 7th March 2018

Join us in March to find out how to go about Planning for Probate.

As Benjamin Franklin is purported to have said, in this world nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes, so why not make the probate process simpler for your loved ones by preparing as much in advance as you can?

The Retirement Cafe looks forward to welcoming experts in probate and dealing with death:

Kurt Lee of Lester Aldridge Solicitors is a highly experienced solicitor with a great deal of knowledge in Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains tax planning strategies, whilst also being a trust and wills specialist. He regularly supports clients through the probate process.

Simon Head is the Managing Director of Head & Wheble Funeral Directors who have been helping families through difficult and emotional times for over 90 years.

Justin King, Chartered Financial Planner at MFP Wealth Management, provides advice on planning for after you’re gone as part of MFP’s retirement planning service. Read more about our experts here.

This two-hour event will cover the following important areas:

– What is involved in the probate process

– What is meant by your ‘estate’

– What taxes may be due and how they are calculated

– Planning a funeral

There will be an opportunity to ask your questions directly to the panel and to talk to them individually afterwards. You are welcome to attend the seminar with family members.

Information shared is for guidance only. You will definitely not be sold to at the Retirement Café. In fact, you cannot buy anything – not even the coffee! The coffee and cake are on us and so is the chat.

Space at this event is limited, so reserve your free ticket early to avoid disappointment as previous events have sold out.
