Lasting Powers of Attorney: 15th September 2017

On Friday 15th September, the third Retirement Café event was a sell-out on the topic of Lasting Powers of Attorney at the Kings Arms Hotel in Christchurch.

The Retirement Café welcomed estate and legacy planning expert Paul Solomons and Court of Protection specialist Fiona Heald to discuss everything you need to know about Lasting Powers of Attorney. They discussed what exactly a Lasting Power of Attorney is, who needs one, how to set one up, and what to watch out for when putting a Lasting Power of Attorney in place.

Paul Solomons and Fiona Heald joined Justin King of MFP Wealth Management to answer numerous questions about LPA and EPAs. The discussion was animated, the environment relaxed, and the guests highly engaged with the informative discussion.

As always, the event was free to attend. But spaces are limited so be sure to register early to avoid disappointment if you would like to attend future events.

I found The Retirement Cafe most enlightening and learnt quite a few things.

I now realise we are unprotected, but feel much better informed to change that.
